Yesterday, the golf team went to Washington for their regional meet, and ended up placing 3rd in the 7-team event. KSHSAA takes the top three teams from each regional to state, which means the team will head to Hesston for the two-day event this coming Monday.

Graham Valburg finished 6th in the 42-player event, shooting an 87 on the day. Konnor Nider finished tied for 8th with a 90, Koy Nider finished tied for 10th with a 91. Outside of the top 10 was Josh Daniels who finished tied for 15th with a 93, Bryson Conger was 25th with a 110, and Tatum Lara finished 40th with a 142.

The team now prepares to head to the 1A state meet in Hesston next week, with the first round taking place on Monday, May 20th, and the final round coming the following day.
