This is Winter Royalty week. Today was Mathletes VS Athletes. Here is Wyatt Pennington, dressed up as a Mathlete and Caidryn Kaberline, dressed up as an Athlete. Tomorrow’s spirit day is Tropical Tuesday! Don’t Forget to dress up and show your school spirit!

Monty Meyerkorth and Jadyn Langford-Haskin represented USD 322 well at the Pott County Spelling Bee in St. Marys this past Saturday. They both finished in the top half of all of the competitors. While not walking away with the county title, they did an excellent job!

2020 Winter Royalty Week
Monday: Athletes vs. Mathletes

Onaga Jr. High Basketball change for Monday, January 27 as Onaga host Wetmore Jr. High. All games will be played in the North gym with the following schedule 5:00 p.m. 1/2 B-girls followed by 1/2 B-boys, A-girls, A-boys.

OHS Cheer clinic is still a go for tomorrow, Saturday, January 25 from 8:00 am - 11:00 am.

Onaga High School girls basketball team will compete today at the TVL basketball tournament being held at Washington County High School. Game time is 4:30 pm - bus departure time from the school will be 1:30 pm.

Onaga High will be attending the wrestling meet at Council Grove scheduled for today with a 2:00 p.m. start time. Athletes will depart from the school at 9:00 a.m.

This will be for both the MORNING and AFTERNOON routes. There will be 4 pick up locations for rural families if they choose to use, or they may take their students to school. There will be a bus at each location from 7:15am-7:30am for parents to meet in the morning. The busses will also drop students off at 3:55pm in the afternoon at the same location. Mrs. Becker’s art display cabinet is looking very alive! Come and see the wide variety of student art including wire, wood projects, jewelry, paintings, and drawings. To see the display, come out to Mrs. Becker’s room.


Every Monday in Ms. Cromer’s class the students share one of their favorite quotes and Ms. Cromer also shares a 7 habits quote. The quotes help us to better understand the 7 habits and how to apply them to our everyday lives.


The winner of the Onaga Elementary Spelling Bee is Monty Meyerkorth (on the right). Jadyn Haskin received runner-up. They will both be going to the County Spelling Bee in Saint Mary’s on Saturday, January 25, 2020.
